Need some help guys. I broke down this sub yrs ago & forgot what model its is. I've searched everywhere but cannot find a Sundown with this basket. It is possible it was swapped but wanted to check here first. It's a 12" with dual 2ohm coils. I need to recone it but dont know model or where to get recone kit. Any help would be much appreciated.
Looks like an SA v1 motor on an older Alumapro Alchemy basket. What is the diameter of the spider landing?
I checked all the allumapro subs & although they are the closest match so far, it's not the same. The spider landing is 7 1/4" dia. I have google searched so many subs & cannot find this basket on anything. Even searched a ton of Chinese manufacturers. I'd really like to rebuild this the easy way (drop in kit) but I might have to buy all the parts separately & build it from scratch. I've never done that before & just dont trust myself with exact measurements to get the right coil, spider, & cone. But I gotta learn somehow. I really appreciate your guys help.
Just watched a Robot Underground video the other day and saw some of these baskets in the background, they're apparently Diamond Audio baskets. Are you in or near Arizona by chance?
