Which HT should be suitable for 4 ways speaker system?
8878T01 300Hz
JBL 2450 300-12k/20k around
??? 12k/20k around-6k around
JBL 076 6k above
the question is which HF is better for this range, from 12k/20k-6k?
someone say RCF ND350
Faital HF108/108R/108D
JBL 2420 second hand
or others......
I think the throad should be 1 inch no doubt.
The HF should have good curve in that range, most important it should sounds musical.
Many thanks for your advise, thanks in advance.

Hi!
You are comparing compression drivers, e.g., the JBL 2420 which has a horn throat diameter of 1 inch.
That particular model has a recommended crossover frequency of 800 Hz or higher, and a frequency response that extends to 20,000 Hz.
There's lots to consider when choosing a compression driver, e.g., power handling in relation to chosen crossover frequency, 8 ohm or 16 ohm impedance and sensitivity (in dB) when mounted on the chosen horn.
I think that this information indicates that the question "which HF is better for this range" may not be easily answered.
Perhaps the above will help you narrow down your choice of compression driver?
Hope this helps - at least I've given your thread a bump!

P.S. I've had a look at your other thread. May I presume this one is related to it?
