Neither 😀 but I still haven't done the final implementation of my "alternate" which may yet prove to be a flop...

You should probably throw in state variable as well... That was the one that I was thinking about before I got all esoteric.

I find the Sallen and Key to sound much better than the typical subtractive type crossover (where multiple low-pass filters are subtracted from the input to derive a high-pass output).

If you think about it; all the noise, distortion, and phase shift show up in the high-pass of the subtractive type. The Sallen and Key can sound quite a bit better, even with cheaper opamps.
