I got an Onkyo TX-82 receiver/amp for free from Craigslist. The guy said the fuse was blown. I'm like "I can replace a fuse", but I know full well that when a fuse blows, something else is probably going on. Long story short, the power supply is toast; I have first secondaries shorted to the case. The original part number for the power supply transformer is NPT-955D, and I can't find any replacement anywhere. So...
Does anybody know where to find a replacement?
Is this unit really worth hunting down a new power supply for, or should it be cannibalized for the parts bin?
