Everyone seems to be out of fresnels at the moment and I really want to get start on my projector over the Xmas holidays.
Been to the following:
Lumenlab.com
diybuildergroup.com
diyprojectorcompany.com
ALL are out of fresnels! Anyone know other sources for these things? Would also be great to know of other DIY projector suppliers - never hurts to shop around a bit.
Thanks!

Privet!
Perhaps you can find an opaque projector in Russia. Its a projector that projects normal papers/objects. They were around since like the 30s?40s?
The older big ones are good, they have big diameter triplet lenses, worth over $100 new, but can be had cheap on ebay...

i did a search right now, it seems that they are mostly wanted than be sold 🙂 but in another place i found today that an objective from a veery old camera is sold for approx. $70. it has F1:4.5 and FL=300 mm.
the question is will it work for me if i have a fresnel of 330 mm??
i tried asking in subforum but nobody answered yet
