I was there exactly two weeks ago to buy some 0.187 female spade quick disconnects. They have a surplus section where I found some interesting items over the years.
Hardware stores usually have glass tube, blade as well as some cartridge fuses (old school HW stores often beat the pants off of the big box stores selection wise), auto parts stores carry a wide variety of blade and glass tube fuses, as do marine supply houses. Marine shops also have very high current fuses if thats ever a need.
Try Marvac,s in Costa Mesa on harbor Blvd.

McMaster Carr (www.mcmaster.com) in Santa Fe Springs or if you prefer: in you mailbox tomorrow. Damn near anything hardware and the best online catalog I've yet to see.
What happened was people lost the knack of looking for the cause of a failed device. A fuse? Easy fix. Something more complex? Find a repair tech. These days people just send things to landfill and reach for the credit card. As a result, things are not built to last but designed to work a few days longer than the warranty.
Yes, McMaster Carr is an incredible supplier. Used them at every place I worked for the last 40 years, and now for my personal DIY stuff in retirement.

Mouser and Digikey have fuses. I seem to recall that Digikey has a pretty low flat-rate shipping fee for small orders and free shipping for orders over $100. Mouser does the free shipping over $100 as well, but charge more for small orders. As I recall...
