I accidentally found a cheap 20w mono amplifier kit. It's a Chaney C6444. I put it together just for fun and was completely blown away with the incredible sound that came out of it. I love it! So I want to build a matching pair. I don't have any more boards but that should be no problem because point-to-point soldering isn't impossible, just impractical.
I want to get parts to build a matching pair, where can I find them?
The parts list is this: (everything is doubled to make a pair of amps)
4x---4.7mf electrolytics
4x---100mf electrolytics
6x---0.22mf mono capacitor (224) {whatever that means}
2x---3amp rectifier/diode
2x---red LED
2x---120ohm 1w resistors
2x---2.7kohm 1/4w resistor
4x---12ohm 1/4w resistor
2x---120kohm 1/4w resistor
2x---2kohm 1/4w resistor
2x---1kohm 1/4w resistor
2x---680ohm 1/4w resistor
4x---3ohm 1/4w resistor
2x---10k/470 dual pot
2x---NEC70001AB amp IC chip
If I could also get a kit for a 12-16v power supply to run both of these amps from, that would be great!
This is what the amp looks and sounds like. I'm pretty excited that something so simple has turned out so good.

All those parts except the last one are common generic components. I buy stuff like that from Mouser mainly, but also look in Digikey, Newark, even Jameco.
I googled the NEC part number and at least one company is selling them. I know absolutely nothing of this company other than they are in the USA, but here they are:
NEC 70001AB
The part is apparently 25 years old??? You might look into a more modern kit with the LM3886 for example.

The resistors, capacitors, and diodes are available from most any electronics parts supplier.
The NEC70001AB chip is available NOS (1986 date code) from here. Google has other possibilities.
I'm not sure what type of potentiometer you need. But it may be tougher to locate than the IC.
BTW, 224 gives the capacitance value in picofarads - 220000pF = 0.22mF (or microfarads, uF)
~8A 12-16V power supplies (or two 4A units) are relatively scarce in kit form. One of the fine diyAudio sponsors may be able to help you with obtain one.
