What's the difference between CD Car Headunit and CD Home Player "line output" ?

does anyone can explain detail output analog difference between CD Car headunit and CD Home Player ?

I try to connect the Car CD Headunit to my Home audio system and the result very low gain from the head unit.

anyone can tell me detail difference ?

The head units output is probably controlled by the volume control. A home unit would simply output a full 2V RMS signal.
