Playing anything through A/V or S-video i get a green tint..but playing through the VGA the color is clean and perfect. Is my bulb dying? Is there another type of bulb I could use instead of paying $300 for a new one??
Btr
If the picture thru the VGA input is nice and clean then I dont think its the bulb. The vga input is always better than the A/v inputs anyway. There are usually seperate controls for each input try adjusting tint and so on.

Yea agreed on the vga being better currently In My Home theater( basement) I have a stand alone dvd player via svadeo But this AUG i intend to buy a new PC and take thus one down there and using the dvd player in this pc via vga to do dvd in the HT, True I wont have a remote then But Oh well I guess.
I've tried every tint/color combo, the gren tint is always there..and it just appeared there one day too, so i dunno.
Video Freak,
It is still possible to have a remote control if you are using a computer to drive your projector. Do a search on "HTPC" and you will find several articles on home theater personal computers. I plan to build a HTPC or upgrade an older computer that I have to run my projector. I am not sure if I am going to buy a remote, what I am thinking about doing is using a wireless mouse and keyboard that I have around the house.
Good Luck
