Either as a kit or complete? I was looking at the Sure tripath type modules but some of the ready built ones are good value too.
I was going to recommend the Sure, I have both Sonic impact & slightly modified Sure, but when I looked on ebay to confirm availability, I found this:- MKll Tripath TA2024 fully finished&tested pcb 2x15watt | eBay UK
Now I don't need another TA2024, but @ £7.99 shipped, I could have one as a spare. I've seen a few people think Argen Helder is OK, but I've got no experience myself, just 8 quid is not a big risk.

I have several Helder's amps (including the above), can't beat the quality for price IMHO. gychang
Just to say I've been reading up on T Amps- the ready built Bantam Gold looks great value, I wonder if they have done the same trick as Helder in lowering distortion by 10x. Temple say 25w per channel but doesnt say if 8 ohm or 4. They shd do the Gold spec with a burr brown usb dac fitted.
Helder looks the way to go in kit form altho a bit pricey(compared to hifimediy) when you add everything all up. I like the idea of the tk2050 monos with that tube pre amp.
Then there's the ready built Dayens Ampino class a/b to consider too..

MKll Tripath TA2024 fully finished&tested pcb 2x15watt | eBay UK This board is just crazy for the price - including free shipment. I ordered it for collecting first D-Amp experiences with the cheapest board available. Fueled by 15V 3A PeakTech 6080 adjustable Power Supply operated at 12.2V it challenges at least 30 times more expensive transistor driven amps back into the stone age. Power consumption is about 70mA at moderate volume. Volume control is not included but is not needed for me as this is done on the PC. Cheap as dirt - good as hell!
MKII TA2024 and Monacor budget Voight pipes
Hi all, first post here🙂
And yes Ampit the MKII TA2024 is very nice.
I just hooked up a 15 v 5A powersupply and my budget Monacor Universal SP13/4 Voight pipes, and wow super good sound. Very good detail and soundstage, i even got some bass.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

The Gold is 25wpc into 4 ohms. You can also boost the gain one fixed level, but also increase the distortion propotionally. The amp is sweet, just see the review at TnT-audio linked at the Templeaudio website.Just to say I've been reading up on T Amps- the ready built Bantam Gold looks great value, I wonder if they have done the same trick as Helder in lowering distortion by 10x. The Gold is NOT a Tripath, but rather it is based on a new Analog Devices class D superchip. The Gold is way better than the Bantam tripath amp which is highly acclaimed.
