What tonearm for AT Art-9 MC

Some time ago, I was able to snatch a AT Art-9 MC, which is said to be very good…
I haven't mounted it yet, and I’m not even sure if I got a suitable tonearm for it…
Vynilengjne has a very good database and calculator for compabilities, but it seems this cartridge (with its 8.5 grm mass and acompliance of 18 x 10-6 cm) is a bit a special one…

Right now, I have the choice between a FR-24 mk2, SME 3009 improved or a RB300…

What tonearm would you recommend? (Model or by specs)?

FR-24 MK2 match well with AT Art-9 MC the resonant frequency calculate will be between 5 and 7Hz

5 to 7 Hz is too low. Better to be around 10 Hz.

Check out the Korf Compliance calculator. Put in the arm cartridge data & it will show which is best.

However IMHO none of the 3 are good enough for the Art

Found some brainfood abount resonance (beside the obvious vynil engine stuff, here) ...

edit: @DNic That page at Korfaudio is nice too! (and will evaluate the combos before hunting down anything better)

I have an art-9 cartridge and I use an SME IV. I think it' s a perfect match. A medium mass arm will be fine.
