I am trying to have a projection screen made more cheaply by a shop that does rolling tent type constructions.
My question regards the reflectivity of the screen material.The usual heavy vinyl they use for outdoors seems reflective and i am afraid that there will be some hot spots reflected to the viewer.
On the other hand a thinner non-reflective material seems nice but is not completely dark-you can see some light if you hold it up against the light.This will be used indoors of course.

I used Triple pass blackout cloth. It is like a really fine smooth suede on one side. I ordered it for $5.95 a yard. two yards will give you a screen 54" x 72". I got it from House of fabrics at the following link
