What resistor power ratings should be used in guitar effects pedals?

Just wondering what the general wattage rating should be for most of them e.g. fuzz

1/4Watt is probably plenty but there are always exceptions. You'll know which ones because they get hot and smoke🙂

well you should simply use Ohm's law to calculate that but generally as Iain McNeil said 1/4W is fine.
