I have a miniDSP 2x4 with Advanced plugin and a pair of sealed subs. I want to implement the EQ curve shown in the attachment. I need PEQ parameters for frequency, gain and Q. I believe that would be 32 Hz & 12dB. Would a Q of 0.5 get me in the ballpark? I see laborious equations for finding Q, but I'm looking for an easier way. 😕
Also, for miniDSP owners, once I enter the three specified parameters, the program calculates the biquad values. Will this PEQ curve be applied automatically when I synchronize with the device?
The subs originally came with 500W amps, both of which crapped out. I believe all these AV123 sub amps failed due to a manufacturer's defect. I installed 250W Dayton amps. Am I being too aggressive with 12dB EQ? Maybe I should go with 9 or even 6dB? The amps have switchable 6dB @ 34 Hz boost, which is what I'm using now. Bass levels seem fine even with only one sub, so I think 12dB may be doable.

IIRC, the rough rule of thumb for estimating Q is that it is the ratio of the centre frequency to the bandwith bounded by the -3dB points.
So, based on a very quick eyeballing of that graph, it's be 32/(36-29) or about 4.5.
