I use an old set of Sennheiser HD 445 open back.
Tried a lot of other cans plugged in the laptop, mostly closed backs like Audio Technica, but always came back to these old Senns.
Lightweight and very comfortable.
I just bought JBL Tune 770 NC Wireless headphones
Will work passively, wired with noise cancelling and Bluetooth
Not the last word in hi-fi, but good for the money
