What is the purpose of "following" a member?

What happens if I "Follow" a member? Will I receive an "alert" notification if this member posts anything?

Well I see you are now following me so what did happen 🙂

I think if you look at the top right of the home page you will see members you are following appear in a list there. That's all.

It is not part of our configuration but there is potentially a feed page for just the posts of the members you follow.
