Hello
I have built a power amplifier using a Sure AB32512 board with a Meanwell HLG 320H 36A power supply. All is good.

I am now building another, but to save money I have found and purchased a used HLG 240H 36A on eBay. £30 delivered in UK . There are a few left!
What will be the affect of having a lower powered supply (240W vs 320W)?
Thanks

The effect will be that the PSU will go into some kind of protection mode at a lower delivered output power into the load.
The amp doesn't give many (any!) clues to its real power output i.e. is it watts rms or some other measure such as total peak music power?
500 watts rms (per channel) is a huge amount and I can't see that module coming anywhere near that. Neither supply would allow that anyway.
