Hi,
Is "Harmonic Bass Alignment" in TAS5825 same as missing fundamental based bass harmonic synthesis?
Datasheet does not mention clearly https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slaa786a/slaa786a.pdf
Thanks and Regards,

It appears to be a type of multi-band compression or limiting (dynamics processing) algorithm that reduces bass peak levels when the speaker starts to distort as it is approaching its mechanical limits or maybe when excessive cone breakup starts to occur.
Effects like that are used in music production, say, in mixing and or mastering, for example. In the case of TAS5825 they are using to reduce bass distortion at high volume levels (large cone excursions).
