Nobody will be able to decide, what is best for you.
The STK hybrid-ICs come in a wide variety of output powers, but I think even the smallest of them should rather compare to the LM3875 or LM3886 than to the LM1875. As much in power rating as in price for a complete amplifier.
Such a comparison will probably lead you to a different conclusion and maybe to an easier decision.
The bigger STKs have much more output power, so will have more dynamics, but will also be much more expensive to build, if you consider power supply and heatsinking.

A LM3875 is 13 dollars.
Looking at the data sheet, an stk-8x series chip has around .2 percent THD. Thats fairly ridiculous considering a modern discrete class AB amp kit you can buy for under 100 dollars has under 0.02 percent THD.

my option here is buy old types components.(power transistors)
Have more fakes components in the shops what genuine parts.
No have relation in the prices.
in some shops cost more an cheap cap and in other buy an MKT type for the same price or half price.
Here the lm1875 cost U$$ 2 dollars.
An 2n3055 1 dollar an tip35 1,5 dollar an 2sc5200 4 dollar
I can buy the best components but no have the certitude what this are genuine.

If you can, avoid the power transistors, the chances of them being fake is fairly high, especially the toshiba devices.
I would honestly go for a chip amp in this case, no one will willingly fake an STK chip thats for sure. LM1725, maybe. Either way the chances of getting a fake integrated amp is a lot lower then a fake power transistor.
There are websites that show you what components are fake, but i know for a fact that a lot of high power toshiba devices are faked. TIP35 probably wont be, not enough power.
