I got a 7" Lilliput a while back and left it for the last thing to do for my nearly completed projector. Well, to prevent any chance for static, I had one of those wrist ground wire things...so I wore this during the whole time I was taking the LCD apart and while installing it all into the projector. When I hooked everything back up and went to go test it with a DVD, I wasn't able to get a picture. When I turned it on, the LCD screen turned dark and I could hear the DVD...but when I turned it off, the screen went back to light. I know for sure (or at least pretty positive) that all my connections were good and the ribbon cables are not damaged...anyone got any ideas for what may be wrong? I don't know how it could possibly be ruined because of static because I was always grounded...and why would the sound work and the LCD at least have some sort of response (turning dark) when turned on if the board was damaged? Ahh! I hope I didn't kill my new Lilliput!!!
