I see I asked similar in 2015 - lets say one wants to cover 40Hz up to John Inlow's 135Hz midbass horn. I really don't room for a set of headphones anymore 😱 The smallest things I can imagine other than sealed 2nd and 3rd order boxes would be assisted 6th order reflex.
here's my guesstimate of John's 135Hz 12pe32 horn - 3 liters back chamber looks better than 4
it oughta play a snare drum pretty well - if the horn(s) on top are up to snuff
dunno if that's close to his compression ratio or not (?)

nothing much more than 4 cubic foot overall bulk. IF (?) I can ignore the lossy Le model then might get by with a simple sealed box and series cap using a Martinprosound 1844 (Eminence 151269) 15 inch laying around

when you talk about size is your concern the footprint??? If so, check out what the aussie does.
