It’s a weird function that doesn’t seem to do much. Occasionally I have seen a list of people I follow pop up, but it isn’t something that I can remember where it is.

Edit: looks like I am following 34 people! They are people whose posts I would like to see, but I don’t see any notifications.

I too thoughts it would bring notifications when followed people post but no... the only thing is i cansee when they are present on the forum when i'm connected.
Looks a lot like a 'socializing' function: being part of a group... not that i dislike the idea but given some reaction members had to me in the past about being part of a supposed group ( beside i'm a proud (philosophical) anarchist) ... better to not use it or not being identified as part of a group.
I keep the ones i follow as those are great human being to me and i'm honoured they accepted to be friend of mine.

In settings there is an option to get a notification 🔔 when someone follows you. But no other option about following.
