Hi All,
Firstly, this is my first post on these forums, so hello to you all!
I'm after a little info, if some kind person here could possibly help. A while ago I inherited a pair of TSR 112's from my boss (who now has ESL 63's). They're wonderful speakers and I absolutely love them, but I can't find any information about them anywhere on the net. The main thing I'd like to know is how old they are, and when this series first appeared. Were there other similar speakers in the same range?
Any info much appreciated!
Paul

Wharfedale info
I've found that if you search eBay for the product you're curious about, you may find the seller knowledgeable & willing to provide the details you need.
Wharfedale's factory burned awhile ago & there isn't any records left of old models like my Super 12 CS-AL's & super 3's.
Good luck,
dobias

Hi,
big old beasts, 2 x10" bass, 8" mid, 1" tweeter with a dubious recess :
mid and treble level controls.
There was a range of TSR speakers from a small MTM using the
Diamond drivers upwards. I'd say replacing some of the crossover
components might be worthwhile. Felt lining the tweeter recess
(I thought they came with this ....) might help somewhat.

wharfedale tsr112 spaeker information
😀i have owned wharfedale tsr 112 speakers since 1978 and purchased them brand new in christchurch new zealand where i still live. i have listened to records mainly every day since 1978 and the speakers never missed a beat and they are awesome speakers.they are very heavy large and tomorrow i will post details about them tomorrow. i have been running them on plinius equipment which i bought at the same time i purchased the speakers and i payed $4999 new zealand dollars for them in 1978 my speakers are in brand new condition and look exactly the same the as the day i purchased them. they imported 3 sets of these speakers to new zealand and i would be very suprised if the other 2 pairs are still in use and i would like to know if they are . i am happy to answer any questions if others want information. i hope this helps and i will post more specific information tomorrow.

This one is old but i give it a chance.
I just come over a set of 112s, and there is not much to read about them on Google, they seem unusual.
Do some body have more info and experiance of the speakerline.
Thanks
