Weiliang DAC - ES9018 - am I in trouble? advice needed!

Hi guys,

I wished I'd searched this forum earlier... 😡

I just bought 2 things from Enjoy in your hi-fi project, diy tube amp, amplifier diy, amp diy
#1 - Weiliang Assembled ESS DAC
#2 - Weiling XMOS USB to SPDIF converter

1st thing: 4 days had passed. I didn't get a response after paying via Paypal. No shipping notice. No email response. Has anyone bought anything recently from diyhifishop? Are they still in business?

2nd thing: I read in diyaudio.com that the XMOS USB module does not have a proper Windows driver. Is this issue being resolved already? Can anyone confirm if they got the Win7/Win8 drivers for Weiliang ES9018 DAC and it works?

If you bought the kits from weiliang? If yes, the seller in CN have good credit about selling audio kits, so don't worry about the goods you bought.

Hallo, I got the same problem! My Weiliang DAC 9 (AK 4399 ) from diyhifishop allready arrived!! And on my Windows XP the X MOS USB-modul-card does not run, but the sound from my CD-Drive via coaxial input increases a lot!! Also the CM 6631A modul on DAC 9 works verry well. Ask Yao for the latest driver! For the X-MOS I did not try the newest driver yet!

Ooops... Hmm... I got the latest driver but I do not have the XMOS module to run it yet. I'm still waiting for the tracking number for my purchase. I got nothing after so many days...

This combination works very well on my windows 7 PC! Has someone got solution for the X-MOS USB card?
