I have a Mesa Triple Rectifier and have kept my Randall RS412W and RS215W stack (hated the Randall Warhead and VMAX heads; Tried them both.) I am struggling to determine how to appropriately match up the proper ohm load connection to the Triple Rectifier.
- The RS412W has (4) 12" Celestion V30s and is 4 ohm (stereo)/8 ohm (mono).
- The RD215W has (2) 15" Jaguars and is 8 ohm (mono).
- The RS215W connects to the RS412W through a built in High Pass on the RS412W.
- The RS412W has two inputs (in addition to the High Pass) with no lables.
I need to know how to set this full stack up to the head for maximum performance and reliability.
- What Ohm outputs do I use?
- How would the Stereo and Mono set up of the RS412w change things?
I have been told to run two cables to each individual cab, but I would prefer to set it up how it was intended....amp to 4X12 to 2X15.
Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Assuming (not enough information/I don't know the products),
You connect two 8 Ohm loads in series you have 16 Ohms.
You connect two 8 Ohm loads in parallel, I believe is the case w/guitar speakers, from RD215W (8 Ohm) to RS412W (8 Ohm) you end up with 4 Ohms what is not bad in short (lenghts) runs.
Amplifier, Loudspeaker, and Ohms
