Hi, Would anyone have one (or two) spare CD tray limit switch(es) for CDM1 Mk11 that they would be prepared to part with?

Clean the blackened contacts.
Remove the switch and wash in a soap water and a toothbrush. Do not force so as to deform. Dry it and using fine grit emory paper, polish the contacts at the mating point.

I'd 'Googled' previously and seen these but I thought it was worth posting of the forums as there must be people with old faulty players they are keeping for spares - so worth a shot. The linked ones from the Far East (PRC, ROC, HK) are agent/manufacturer links offering OEM or 'Copy' production. They want to supply in volume only and the chances of them supplying a 'sample' are unlikely. It's quite possible they have never made any and the photos are there to show what kind of products they can offer. Bear in mind that the original production was 25 years ago - that's a very long time in terms of Far East production.
The ebay link shows a similar switch (but with shorter arm, so it would need extending) but that's a great lead, thanks! 🙂
