I hope I'm in the correct area for this, if not, please inform. I just bought a Washburn Lyon BD8 8 watt "bad dog" practice amp that is wall powered. I want to convert it to 9v battery power. I currently have a Washburn LA5 5 watt amp that is battery powered and can use it for parts if necessary. They are almost the same amp but the wall powered one has a little more punch to it. What I would like to do is take the battery supply from the 5 watt and install it in the 8 watt. Is this possible? And, what is a basic method for doing this? Thanks for any assistance
