Hello to all...
Was at the Salvation Army this morn, and found this beautiful little black subwoofer: very heavy for its size, looks clean, really new looking. It has a 10" front firing driver and a 12" downfiring radiator; both appear to be new, no deterioration, in fact it looks absolutely pristine; no price on it - turns out to be $25. Info on the back says it's a Velodyne V-1012 B (B for Black-stained wood, I'm guessing), and it was made in 1994. It has a powercord coming out the back and a volume control, so it ia a powered subwoofer...
Hauled it home and now am wondering where should I put it in the audio chain: in-between the CD and Kenwood KA-3500 integrated amp? or in-between the amp and the speakers (gonna try it with my Ohm Model E's).
Anybody have experience with this item? Which location in the audio chain should give me truer sound?

Feed it from the speakers, it should intergrate better that way! Make sure the Sub has inpits for hi and lo level, best start with all volumes turned down so you don't overdrive the amp in the sub🙂
