Hi everyone I am a big fan of AR Loudspeaker I currently have a pair AR 93 that I updated the crossover and drivers
With all the diy projects has anyone thought of building a AR3 clone or other model I know a few companies are making modern replacements midrange and tweeters Thanks Tim

Yes very much so I am a member but most other members with respect want to keep everything original with the drivers
OK, well, good luck with it, not interested personally, only the AR1 with the Altec 8", which has been priced well beyond my means.

My favourite speaker is a 1980's Fane 12-50WRMS in a W bin.
I listen to others but always come back to that one.

YOU CRAVE: Deep bass with superior transient low Qts response from sealed woofers
With high efficiency Class-D woofer amplifiers, deep bass with superior transient low Qts response from a sealed woofer is easy to deliver. A floor standing 3-way with a 12" woofer would support a low edge diffraction distortion "Avalon-Style" cabinet. Instead of bevels, you could use a 1.5" - 3" radius quarter round on the baffle edges above the woofer.
Run a sealed simulation of the SB_Acoustics 12" SB34NRX75-6 wth your max box volume goal.'
Study a few threads on edge diffraction DISTORTION.
