I've been very interested in the VFET threads and NPs SITs. At Burning Amp, the SITs were the talk of the event, literally.
So, I was thinking, if one were able to acquire a pair of N-Channel VFETs or SITs, what would you build?
A circlotron seems an interesting answer, but the designs I'm aware of take two transistors per channel, so the circlotron is out - the challenge is for a pair of outputs. One can use other FETs to bias, but only two VFET/SITs to design with.

Something with a CCS load in the output stage, Zen V4, J2, F2, Aleph M.
Or a single device design, BOZ, http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/pass-labs/66822-sewa-seven-watt-amplifier.html

You need to contact Mike Rothacher on these forums. He already has things cooking with the Sony VFETs.
Don't need unobtainable devices, just Darlington or Sziklai arrangement of
Triode and BJT. Mu senses collector voltage of BJT, and the loop is closed.

Actually, the Sony part is a drop in for the IXYS part in the Delite amp. Just a few resistor value changes and supply voltage changes.
Was a video made at Burning Amp?
If only 2 N-channel SIT per channel, I would make a quasi-complementary ouput!

Soon I hope.
Sounds like NP has something for us as well. Should be a fun month.
I'm waiting for the true pros to show the rest of us the way.

I'll bet it's a PLH update 😉
Interesting thought. Who drives and who rides?
I wonder if this is the Nemesis update for Linear Audio.
I'm running R085s in a Nemesis style (1:1 XFMRs) as my main amps now. Hard to find fault with!
