Very quick transformer question

Hello all,

I have a transformer for a GT120 build that I have a quick question about. Both wires for the bias supply winding are the same color. Does it matter what wire I ground or do I have to pay attention to polarity? If I do have to determine polarity, is there a quick way of doing so?

thanks,
-david

Shouldn't matter, but if this is a half-wave rectifier, be especially careful where the ground connects.

Really you should have posted GT120 schematic and transformer image showing wires, labels and colours.

Not sure what "red wires" means, I never saw a transformer image or picture or datasheet.
