Hi,
I'm about to put together a pair of K4700's for a 3 channel amp that I'm putting together (basically Net Audio Quad 405-III with independent trafos/PSU's).
Googling the K4700 I see that Tyler Thornblade DIY handle:"tiroth" has suggested some modifications to make the protection more sensitive and more robust. The modifications were originally posted here but the site no longer exists and I can't find them described anywhere else.
Does anyone know anything about this or whether Tyler is contactable somewhere? I'd really like to do this right when I do it.

Most important change to that circuit is to off-board the relays and use better ones. Also, to minimise relay contact arcing under fault conditions, the relays must be connected in the way described in Project 33 of Elliott Sound Products site.
Hi Everbody, This my first time on this forum and I`d like to ask if anyone knows how to convert k4700 to single channel working. cheers

This link will take you to the schematic .Cheers

so , you want to use one k4700 per channel ? , possibly using both relays in parallel ?
if that's the case - just parallel input contacts (both PA ) , parallel output contacts (both LS)
