Van der Veen transformers

Has somebody tried universal transformers by Menno Van der Veen? They are cheap but look attractive (at least their measurements)

http://www.antrimtransformers.com/products.php?sec=634 these Antrim transformers had something to do with Menno - I tried a single 6.6K one and it sounded very nice and clean. Must get another - problem is they just doubled their prices. There's the 4k Amplimo ones which are cheap (why??) - rest of the range is expensive though.
