Vacuum tube horizontal

Hi all, I'm not sure but is there any detrimental effect having a vacuum tube operating horizontally at all? If one is tight on space of or the like.

I'm clearly new.

See the datasheet. Most will be OK, some will require a particular orientation.

Many thanks for those links, I should have been more thorough upfront.

Adding insult to ignorance, my own modified JD9 has horizontal tubes in it!
