Hmmm, 5 months you say...
Check all the diodes and transistors, especially the long-tailed pairs. No worry for bad caps, no corrosion, no bad solder joints...

No serious, take good care of your friend...
He'll recover soon.

/Hugo 😉

It's those blues...

Has your woman gone done and left you? (Da-de-da-dum bass riff).
Your landlord thrown you out? (Da-de-da-dum bass riff).
And lost your job? (Da-de-da-dum bass riff).

Aaaah woke up this morning...

Seriously, animals are amazingly phlegmatic about this sort of thing. I had a cat who had her leg broken rather nastily by a dustcart, and she was a bit of a tripod afterwards, but it didn't seem to slow down her hunting...

No word, is this bad news?

Hey JD,

You haven’t said anything else about your dog. I hope this doesn’t mean that things haven't worked out.

Right now, I'm lying in on the couch with my laptop two cats and my wife. They are all asleep right now. Life is good. One cat just got over kidney infection and the other one has just come down with a cold. He sneezes several times in hour. It was amusing until we could see he was starting to suffer.

Pets are an amazing thing. They say that they add years to our lives. Problem is that when they get sick, the stress takes them all back. In the end I think its a net gain of zero, but like many other things in life we are better off for having experienced them.

Our best wishes to you and your family.
