Hello guys, just want to ask you if something such as these LCD Modules can be used for our purpose: making a diy projector. What do you think about?Is there some one who has already tried something similar?

yes, you could. Only need to pay attention to the resoultion. The cheapest SVGA(800x600) at this size is above $400. But I remember it was sold for $200 - $250 a while ago on eBay.
