Hi,

This a new product from MiniDSP, from the User Manual one of the applications is

 Computer-based active loudspeaker systems

Reading the Datasheet and User Manual,
Does it means the following:

1. Does it behave similar to MinDsp 2*4ways i.e. operates as a speaker X-over?
2. In this case support 8 speakers(L&R * 4)?
3. Built-in Xmos i.e. support USB from PC
4. Built-in DAC from AKM which model?

U-DAC8 | MiniDSP
This unit is based on the USBStreamer platform.

The miniDAC8 is a another (new) unit designed (primarily) to be mated to the existing miniSHARC platform.
