I was dropping off a donation at a thrift store today and thought I would just look in the electronics area (bad habit of mine 🙂). I found a pair of Optimus Pro X77 speakers for 8 bucks. Couldn't pass them up at that price. Got them home and pulled off the grills and the woofers look fine. However, the Linaeum tweeters are as such. The speakers appeared to sound fine to those that listened. Is there any way to "unwrinkle" material in the tweeter? How does the "foil" figure in the sound reproduction?
