Tweeter to Pair with 4" Mid-Bass Driver ?

Hi,

I'm looking for tweeters to pair with 4" mid-bass drivers for building 2-way bass-reflex loudspeakers. I was told that 1" dome tweeters are too loud, and adjusting by the network makes bad sounding. Vifa D20TD (textile dome) would be the best, but it is out-of-production. The D19TD (plastic dome) doesn't sound as good as D20's. 🙁

Depends what mid bass drivers you are using.

I don't have the model with me right now, but it's an old Vifa 4" driver. I'll check it out.
