Hi all,
I'm using a homebrew Scheu-like mass turntable with acrylic platter and acrylic, lead filled base.
this turntable rests on a rack hanging from the wall, with 'shelves' made out of 6 layers plywood
glued together. On the same shelve are 2 SE tube-amps. See the picture below.
I want to know what should be between the turntable and the shelve. You could say the shelve has mass, so put the turntable on the shelve without feet. On the other hand, you dont want to hear anything from the amps. so: spikes, granite, masterbase, special wood, a box with sand. special feet ?? Anyone any experience ??
Cheers
Werner
