Turning of projectors correctly?
I hear you should always turn off anything with a bulb “as in projection tv or data projectors...etc…” properly otherwise you may pop the bulb is this true? Even with the latest tv’s out?
Is this how it works:
When you turn it of correctly the fan stays on and cools the bulb when you just pull the plug the bulb doesn’t get cooled and could melt?

Re: Turning of projectors correctly?
Yes.
I'm not sure what you mean.
Oh, and please use proper punctuation and spelling, it's very hard trying to work out what you mean sometimes.

It is supposed to be tv apostrophe s
And this sentence is in quotation marks as in projection tv or data projectors...etc…
By the looks of it the forum changes the apostrophe and quotation marks into
Which I did not know because I see it as being correct it must be on your end.
Anyway I always though when you turn of a projector correctly the fan stays going for awhile to cool the bulb to prevent it from getting damaged
Is it ok just to pull the plug out of the socket without shutting it down?

He said yes turn it off correctly otherwise you run a very big risk of popping the bulb or giving it a very short life.
