Hello again,
I would like to buy a new Turnable mat and record brush, but I would like to know which are the best:
Mat: donuts mat, normal mat.felt mat, silicone mat...; Which is the best anti-static mat, please? Does it work really?
Brush: DECCA LONDON 2+2 RECORD, Cecil Brush, pure bristles brush,....
Thanks😉

The brush should be carbon fibre, otherwise its pointless.
Anti-static mats don't work well in my opinion, but then again
using a carbon fibre brush I don't have any static problems.
Mats can be used for tonal tuning, so which is best is hard
to say, but a solid fairly hard rubber mat gives the best results
on most turntables I'd say, deeply unfashionable though.
Note the rubber mat should be a solid section, not a triumph
of injection moulding mass removal where you can't see it.
🙂 sreten.
