Collected today both tuners for 15 euros. I like them. The Denon has a great, full and richer sound, but has a "flickering signal" (brief cuts) now and then. Annoying sometimes...
The Yamaha has a very good selectivity in both "wide/narrow" and never lose the signal, but the sound (or output level?) seems to be lower than the Denon in both low end and high frequencies, although I can't hear any little noise with the TX-540RS as for the TU-580RD. Is this a matter of alignment or is it possible to replace some components with fresh new ones?
