I'm wondering if there are any DIY or general audio/hifi groups, clubs, festivals, gatherings, meetings, etc. in or near Tulsa, OK or in "nearby" locations like OKC, Dallas, Kansas City, southwest Missouri, or northwest Arkansas. I'm new to the hobby and looking to hear different designs and swap ideas.

Come to Dallas for the Lone Star Audio Fest May 1, 2 and 3. You will be able to hear many different systems, speakers, etc. See the thread I posted, Lone Star Audio Fest 2015
You'll want to come on Saturday the 2nd for sure. On Sunday the 3rd, a lot of folks will be checking out by noon, and you will miss a lot of what's there to see. I'm checking out on Monday though, so I have plenty of time to get packed up.
OK, thanks for the tip. I'm going to try and make it for Saturday but that'll be difficult because my wife leaves town for a week on Sunday. I might need to go on Friday. Better to see a little bit than nothing at all. We'll see how things shake out.
