I've got a box full of parts and stuff and I want to make a stereo amp or pair of monoblocks but dont know where to start. Here's what I've got, 1 Challenger Ch30 amp (2 6L6, 2 6CS7, 1 5U4G, 1 6SL7)(is mono with 2 MIC and 1 phono input) 2 6GW8's, 8 12Au7's, 2 big power transformers, 1 5Y3, 1 5U4, 1 6V6, 2 6C4, 1 6Au6A, 2 4wire output transformers, 2 5wire output transformer of different sizes and 1 small 7wire output transformer, add boxes of caps and resistors and general stuff. My thoughts are to salvage as much as possible from the CH30 (has a huge output transformer) and find a schematic for monoblocks of the 6L6's or maybe something small with the 6GW8's. Any first steps to get started? Any ideas to harness this mess into something usable (speakers aren't a problem, got 86dB's and 98dB's and some horns I need to test laying around). All help and ideas will be appreciated.

Given the tubes you have
(2 6L6, 2 6CS7, 1 5U4G, 1 6SL7)(is mono with 2 MIC and 1 phono input) 2 6GW8's, 8 12Au7's, 2 big power transformers, 1 5Y3, 1 5U4, 1 6V6, 2 6C4, 1 6Au6A, 2 4wire output transformers, 2 5wire output transformer of different sizes and 1 small 7wire output
I suggest you look for se 6l6 with a common power supply as you have one 5u4. This can be made to only power the output segment only. Then The 5y3 can be used to power the driver. You have suitable drivers that the 12au7. I suggest you can use them in a cascoding configuration to get the gain required. But i doubt the outut trans can be used since it looks like a push pull trans without airgapped. Hope this helps though
