Tube buffer for MosFet Citation 12

Hello!

I am considering to build my second tube circuit, previously I built simple cathode follower, and when I "debugged" all mistakes, my chipamp sounded better than without it, probably because of different input impedance.
So now I want to build Nelson Pass' MosFet Citation 12, and I checked simulations, with 1.3V input (max I can get from my source) amp still have room till clipping. Sure I won't use more than 5-10% of amp's power, but some devil inside of me wants to be able to push amp into clips, at least theoretically, so I need some kind of preamp. As tubes are good to use because they are easy to solder and I like to use p2p where-ever I can, I decided to use tube preamp. Cathode follower have gain less than 1, so I guess anode follower would suit.
Please check my schematic, as I am not sure if I can use that kind of way to reduce/increase gain if needed (with pot). And feel free to suggest anything else.
6DJ8 there is just for reference, as I wasn't able to get 6n1p subckt working on TinaTI.
