either a smart or extremely dumb question: if you remove the screen of a CRT monitor and replace it with a fresnel lens, would the monitor emit too much radiation? 
also, there are quite a few connected wires inside the monitor with the sole purpose of holding the screen to the internal mechanism. if these wires are removed, it seems like it would be extremely difficult to reattach. could someone please respond before i accidentally blow s**t up?
