Gentlemen,
My next project is going to be a full featured Preamp (with phono and HP amp). I would like to have a trigger output on it to control my PS audio Quintet. I will probably have over 18V to work with (pass B1 or BOZ). I assume I can apply 12V to the mono 3.5 pin to turn on/off the circuitry in the Quintet unit, but is simply tapping power from my transformer and stepping it down through a divider circuit all that's needed? Or will a relay system be necessary?
