Hi all
I have a Topping TP30 DAC / Amp combo here as my desk amp in my study - it is connected to an OpenPeak tablet thing (sold in the UK by O2 as a "Joggler") via the analogue audio out. It's plugged into an old (very old) pair of JPW Sonata loudspeakers. The whole setup sounds really sweet.
However, there's a problem. Since connecting the Sonatas, the amp is cutting out at frequent intervals. It's like it is going into protection mode, and I can also hear the relay clicking occasionally. Turning it off then on again will reset it for a short time.
Anyone got any ideas as to what is wrong? Is it struggling to drive the speakers?
Cheers
