Hi all!
Is it possible to ad a tone control in a TubelabSE?
I have looked at this one. And was thinking to build it in the same chassie as the amp.
And do it like this:
CD in --> Tone control --> Volum --> AMP
Any problems?
Thanks //Daniel

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I have used basically same circuit and it works great. Below is my version. It has also a voltage amplifying stage, which is in most cases not needed. Also the cathode follower - as in your example - is not necessary if the used signal source is having low impedance device like CD-player etc.
Very good feature of this circuit is - compared with passive one's - is that one can use linear potentiometers. Also the "flat" response is exactly at middle position of the pots.
